Vacationing with my tribe...

Ok so I am about 3 weeks from going on our first big trip as a family of 6, we are headed to Gulf Shores for a relaxing week (lets hope 😉). We have never been on a full family vacation and we are all VERY excited but my organization OCD is on HIGH ALERT!! I am obsessing over having stuff for the kids in the car, and when we get there, how should I pack them (their own suitcases or make them share), the list goes on and on. For those of you who know me this is a norm for me, I am a perfectionist and want everything to run smoothly.

So here I am in a mountain of "to do" lists and nothing is quite ready to get started yet because we have time! I know we have time but I am still obsessing as I like to do. So here are my thoughts.....

I am making ziplock bags of snacks for the kids or I am buying prepackaged snacks for the road (have you seen pinterest with all the cute "box" of snack - Aaron says I cannot do that -he says thats overkill HA! 😊)

Next I already have mini backpacks for them so we are going to not only have ipads but coloring books and workbook pages and I am thinking colored pencils so we don't have melted crayons

I am going to take our mini cooler for the backseat to keep water bottles in and they will all have their refillable water (I will treat them to some "squirt" as we call it, Water flavoring)

ok so the car ride I think we will be good, but the next thing I am thinking is about the week we are there....I FRY in the sun I do have an umbrella but I don't want to be under it the whole time...so I am thinking we all need some fun hats! 😊 It will be good for them to have too because they will NEVER sit under the umbrella. Our wonderful condo has 2 beach chairs and toys for the kids to play with so I think we won't worry about that which is good!

UGH! Can you tell I am on a rant lol ....It will all be fine I KNOW this, I am just ready to go! The only bad thing is when we get back .....school life is back in session 😝 and then we have the crazy back to school frenzy, but thats another post LOL 😀!
