Teacher at heart
Me as a teacher...in short I am a momma bear. These kiddos are mine from the start and will always be my babies. I love everything about teaching, from the planning for lessons to watching their little light bulbs come on when they get the concepts.
I love to create a classroom that is flexible for their wiggly little bodies but there are also high expectations for behavior and learning. It can look like organized chaos but it works for us and we love it. So this page will be about my classroom and everything that we do in first grade!

Classroom Set Up 2017-2018
Ok So this was my Classroom set up at the beginning of last year ...I had a 1st and 2nd grade split room and needed lots of spaces. I use flexible seating that is constantly changing and adding new options for my kiddos. Last year they had chairs, stools or standing, crate seats, wobble stools, floor table, lap desks, clipboards. My room is already different then this now but I will share that after its ready for the 2018-2019 set up :)
I thought I would share this so that you will see the difference in the new set up!
